still skinny

Chris had a followup appointment today with Dr. Cain. Chris is still 12 lb 8 oz, the same as he was two weeks ago. One good thing is that he has gotten taller- he is now 26 inches. But, he hasn't put on any weight. He now has a referral to see a pediatrician at Children's Hospital. He is supposed to be seen within two weeks. Dr. Cain is concerned that Chris isn't gaining weight properly, but he says that otherwise Chris seems healthy and happy, and is developing normally. He thinks that he is just not getting enough calories. I now get to do a fun combination of breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding breast milk, and bottle feeding formula. Oh yeah. A little bit of everything.

Every day Chris is getting a little stronger. Today he tolerated tummy time for quite a long time! He kept on popping his head up to see his dog toy.
